Follow-up visits from home, for patients we have already evaluated in person and who are in Colorado during the visit.
Visits by video are for follow-up care, once we have met in person.
The visit
How a follow-up by video works

Before
We send a link by text or email. Find a private place, and tell us where you are so we know which state's law applies.
- 02
During
Same twenty-five minutes, same prescriber. If the video drops, the prescriber calls you by phone.
- 03
After
Any prescription goes to the pharmacy you choose. We set the next visit before the call ends.
What this is not
What video cannot do
We do not prescribe controlled medication at a visit by video; our policy is to decide that in person, after an evaluation. We also cannot see you by video if you are outside Colorado, and a visit by video is not a crisis line.

Can my first visit be by video?
No. The first evaluation is at the office, so that we can meet and talk without a screen between us.
What do I need?
A phone, tablet or computer with a camera, and a private place to talk. We send the link by text or email.
Is it billed the same way?
It is billed to your plan as a medical visit where we are in network. Plans differ on video, which is one more thing we check before your visit.
