Care
Initial evaluation
A sixty-minute conversation with one of our prescribers, for adults who want to understand what is going on and what could help.
We start by listening. The prescriber reviews your history and medications and asks what you want from care.

The visit
What happens in the evaluation
- 01
Your history
We ask about what brought you in, your health, your sleep, and what you have tried before. You say as much as you like.
- 02
Your medications
Bring a list of everything you take, including supplements. If you have records from a past prescriber, we are glad to see them.
- 03
A plan, in words you can use
You leave knowing what the prescriber recommends, what it may involve, and when we meet again. Medication is one possible part of the plan, not a given.
What this is not
Not therapy, and not an emergency visit
An evaluation is not psychotherapy, and it does not promise a prescription. The prescriber recommends what fits and you decide. If you may harm yourself, call or text 988; in an emergency, call 911.
Questions
Three questions about this visit
How long is it?
Sixty minutes. If you arrive with a long history, tell us when you book and we will plan the time.
Will I leave with a prescription?
Only if the prescriber recommends one and you agree. Our policy is that controlled medications are decided in person, after an evaluation, and we explain that on the prescribing policy page.
How is it paid for?
We check your benefits first and tell you your plan's answer before you come in. How fees work has the details.
Ready to book an evaluation?
